You’ve heard of our legendary Ganache Masterclass? And our One Day Drip? Well, we’ve now combined the 2 and we offer you the Ganache and Buttercream Masterclass. It’s perfect for absolute beginners and you will achieve all this in 3 days!!!
Too good to be true????
The class runs from 10.30am to 5pm.
We will start the class by baking a decadent chocolate cake and a lemon cake with a blueberry filling. Once we’ve finished baking our cakes on day one, you will come back on day two to make your chocolate ganache and achieve sharp edges on a square cake using chocolate ganache. You will decorate the cake with chocolate truffles covered in pistachio.
On day 3 you will make Swiss Meringue Buttercream. You will love this cake decorating technique being instructed by one of our very talented teachers. What a great way to spend a day!
In this three day class, you will learn:
– How to bake chocolate and lemon blueberry cakes
– How to make Chocolate Ganache from scratch
– The correct method to make Swiss Meringue Buttercream
– How to use essential cake decorating equipment to achieve smooth straight sides on your cakes as well as relatively sharp edges on cakes
– How to cover your cakes in chocolate ganache and Swiss Meringue Buttercream
– How to make chocolate truffles
You will go home with:
– Two stunning cakes that you will have decorated yourself (Square Chocolate Cake and round Lemon Cake )
– New skills in making smooth and silky chocolate ganache and Swiss Meringue Buttercream
– New skills in decorating using very trendy techniques and designs
– An understanding of layering cakes
The pictures are for display purposes only. Your teacher will talk you through any design elements in any picture shown, but for the efficient running of this class, you will be guided by her in terms of design.
All ingredients and equipment, including transport boxes, for your cake course are provided, you do not need to bring anything with you. The teacher will ensure that you work at a pace suitable for you.

If you would like, you can bring a large bag to carry your cake home. We provide sturdy cardboard boxes, but you may find it easier to carry your cake in a bag such as an Ikea bag.
